Futurmoda, the fair
Futurmoda is the international trade fair for components, leather goods, textiles and machinery for footwear and leather goods, with more than 300 exhibitors from Spain, Italy, Portugal, France and other countries. It occupies an exhibition area of more than 12.000m2 where you can see a wide range of articles for footwear and leather goods, habitat, textile, clothing and fashion, so that more than 7000 visitors can see the latest trends in the sector.
At FUTURMODA, visitors will be able to find everything they need to manufacture their new collections, learn about trends in the sector and find out about the new sustainable products that the auxiliary industry is developing. They will also be able to attend seminars, talks and parallel events, which are an indisputable source of information on trends and developments in the sector. You can visit the website for more information and also access their LinkedIn to keep up to date with the latest news from the fair.
Our stand at the fair
Pytón has participated in the Futurmoda fair since its first editions, since 1939, accompanying companies in choosing the best raw materials for their collections.
At the beginning, only leather was exhibited because the origin of Futurmoda was mainly focused on the footwear sector, but since a few years ago, with the growth of the fair, other leather goods for other uses such as leather goods and metal accessories are also presented.
Each edition, the Futurmoda fair becomes more and more consolidated and takes on a relevant importance for the footwear sector as well as for handbags and other accessories. For this reason, we are visited by both footwear and leather goods clients and there is an increase in international visitors. Our aim is to continue collaborating with the brands we work with, to get to know the emerging brands and, above all, to support the latter and help them to position themselves with a suitable product for their collections.
During the two days – 16th and 17th October – that the fair lasted, you could come and visit us at our stand and learn from our sales department about the new trends for the next autumn/winter 2025/2026. If you weren’t able to visit us, you can always contact our team.
Autumn Winter 2025/2026 Trends
We can affirm that the trends that were shown during the last edition of the Lineapelle fair in Milan have been consolidated. As far as leather trends are concerned, there is a clear commitment to fur items with animal print patterns, both feline and cow prints. Also gaining in importance are vegetable finishes in both nappa and cowhide and, as a special trend point, the shiny and glossy finishes, both smooth and crackled, as well as semi-shiny finishes on smooth leathers.
The main trends for trimmings are metallic accessories with a touch of craftsmanship, carved pieces and a combination of metal and paste, as well as chains with engraved links.
The most special elements are flowers in leather, felt inlaid with imitation precious stones and a notable presence of appliqués for shoes, belts and bags.
